What is Truth?
The truth is that you and I will die some day. Therefore, truth is a fact. It is not subject to our own interpretation or relative to our own position or circumstances.
God Almighty the maker of heaven and earth is true. You may say, I cannot see him but you do see yourself and all his creation daily. Remember that truth is fact and it is not relative to who we are or to our circumstances.
Another truth is that you and I came into this world with nothing and we will certainly leave it with nothing. Come to think of it, we struggle daily to possess the things of this world only to leave it behind when we die.
Therefore, what is the essence of life on this earth if at the end we die? The true essence of life is love, and the Lord God Almighty is love. Love is about doing for others. It is about giving of ourselves to others. God Almighty demonstrated his love to the world, when he gave his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross, so that the chosen children of God will not die!
Wait a minute! Did I not just say that the truth is that you and I will die someday? Yes I did. Another truth is that man is both flesh and spirit. The flesh is the body that will decay when we die and the spirit is what gives life to the body. When the spirit departs from the body we die and our flesh is buried or burnt up as some people will prefer.
The truth is that the spirit never dies but lives in perpetuity. God is spirit and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
The truth is that Judgment Day is coming, when all the living and the dead will give account of themselves to the Lord God Almighty. God Almighty says that on Judgment Day, there will be two groups of people, those who will live forever with God and those who will live forever in hell fire.
You see, only very few will live with God forever, with many perishing in eternal hell fire, including those who call themselves Christians!
So how can one escape the eternal hell fire you may ask? Jesus Christ is the Answer! As I said previously, God Almighty demonstrated his love to the world, when he gave his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross, so that the chosen children of God will not die but live forever with God. When Jesus Christ died on the cross, he rose from the grave on the third day and ascended into heaven to be with the Lord God Almighty and to intercede for the spirit of those whom God has chosen for himself.
Make no mistake about it, we cannot chose to have Jesus Christ and be saved from the eternal hell fire as many Christian churches teach today. That you must first accept Jesus Christ as your lord and personal savior, and then you will be saved from the eternal hell fire is a lie and the word of God (the Bible) does not teach that.
The rightful question should be how do I know if I am one of the chosen children of God who will live with God forever thereby escaping the eternal hell fire or damnation?
For you to truthfully answer the question, in the affirmative or positively, you should start reading the word of God the Bible daily in a systematic manner. Start reading from the beginning book of Genesis and proceed systematically to the very end of Revelation. As you embark on the journey that will change your life, ask the Lord God Almighty to put his spirit into you and to give you understanding of his word. Do not rely on man to teach you the word of God since man by his very nature is limited, but the Lord God Almighty is infinite and unlimited in knowledge and in truth. May he grant you his wisdom and understanding. Amen!
